Donations to Two Local Non-Profits Were Awarded Based on Community Input
In February 2017, The Byne Group, a Hudson Valley based integrated marketing agency, launched a special campaign called Share the Love in order to celebrate new clients and pay it forward to select non-profits. Social media posts encouraged fans and followers to make their voice heard and share which non-profits they thought should be the lucky recipients. After the four-month promotional period, The Byne Group made a donation to two local non-profits based on all of the new clients that came on board during that same period. United Women of Rockland and Rockland County Pride Center were this year’s recipients thanks to new business from Marist College, SUEZ, The Thayer Hotel, The Esplanade at Palisades, Rockland County Historical Society, and American Watch Association.
The non-profits received recognition and their donation during a check presentation hosted at The Byne Group’s headquarters in July. Based on the success of this initiative, The Byne Group plans to annualize the promotion and looks forward to growing it year after year.
“We are fortunate to work with so many non-profits in the Hudson Valley and appreciate the community engagement and new client work that allowed us to pay it forward. We can’t wait to do it all over again in 2018,” said Melissa Lipovsky, Vice President and Creative Director at The Byne Group.
“It was an honor to be hand-picked by the Rockland community and receive this recognition and support. It is moments like this that help fuel our passion for assisting women and their families during challenging times. Thank you to The Byne Group for introducing this wonderful program,” said Christine Silverstein, President/Founder of United Women of Rockland.
“Support from the local private sector is vital to the growth of non-profit organizations. Every little bit helps whether it is financial, professional, or public recognition. We are grateful to The Byne Group for this opportunity,” said Brooke Malloy, Executive Director of Rockland County Pride Center.
